Lizette Rivera was thrilled to take time out of her busy schedule for pampering. The makeover started with flawlessly glowing skin from a Luxe Day Spa facial and peel.
“Lizette had the microfacial, which is the best facial procedure because the client gets the best of both worlds – extractions, masks and massages, but also the mechanical exfoliation with the diamond microdermabrasion tips,” said Cristina Anastasas, owner of Luxe.
Next, Lizette had her eyebrows shaped and hair done and was given a gorgeous makeup look she could replicate on her own. She said her favorite treatment was the finishing touch, eyelash extensions from Lash Spa Studio. Lizette noticed a difference right away and said even her 14-year-old daughter was impressed.
“We chose the classic initial application for eyelash extensions because it’s our go-to for newbies,” said Cierra Resendez, a lash artist at Lash Spa Studio. “It’s very versatile – we can go natural or glam it up with the length.”
Most importantly, the makeover gave Lizette a reminder to be a little indulgent every once in a while.
A self-professed fan of South Tampa Magazine, Lizette reads the publication every chance she gets. “I was interested to see what types of treatment the makeover would offer,” she said. “I am always looking for great ways to take care of myself. Being a mother and business owner it is hard to make time for myself.”

Beverly cleansed and prepped Lizette’s skin so the wax came off painlessly. Using the center’s own Comfort Wax, she created beautiful new brows to frame Lizette’s face.
Lizette’s hair was blown out by Brandon to be smooth and wavy with plenty of volume using Kevin Murphy’s SMOOTH AGAIN and SHIMMER SHINE treatments.
Tribeca Salon founder and creative director, Brandon Wagner, evened out Lizette’s skin tone and gave her face a new luminescence with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit.
Lash Spa Studio uses vegan-friendly synthetic-blend lash extensions that contain no mink or fur. The initial application gives Lizette a wide-eyed look and eliminates the need for mascara.
A Diamond Microderm Facial and Pumpkin Enzyme Peel cleared dead skin, whiteheads and blackheads out of pores and left Lizette with tighter and brighter skin in two days.
