Favorite workout:
I start my day at 5:45 a.m. each morning with Jazzercise. It’s a great way to kick up the cardio and get my day started before I’m off to elementary school to spend a full day with my students. These classes are high energy and have the best instructors.
Cool Tampa fact:
Tampa is an arts-enriched community. From the local music studios like mine to the nationally known David A. Straz Center, residents of Tampa believe in and are committed to the performing arts.
Best place for a girl’s night out:
When I’m ready for a night out with the girls, I kick off my evening with a stop at Hamburger Mary’s for a round of Drag Queen Bingo, flavorful drinks and an exciting atmosphere.
Favorite local boutique:
Crème de la Crème. Sharon keeps all of my favorite scents, cute shoes and great accessories in stock.
Best place to get a craft beer:
My friends own Cornerstone Pub in Carrollwood. This great bar is worth the drive from South Tampa. A perfect ending to the evening!
Favorite craft cocktail:
I love a great cocktail. Currently, I’m in love with The Bee’s Knees from Ciro’s Speakeasy & Dinner Club. It’s so smooth and just the perfect touch of honey and lavender.
Favorite breakfast spot:
Ja-Vahz is full of yummy and made-to-order goodness! I stop by every day on my way to work.
Best place to watch a Lightning game:
I went to my first hockey game last year and fell in love with the Chase Club and the energy in that area of Amalie Arena!
Best Italian food:
Osteria Natalina has the best Italian food in Tampa. Spartaco Giolito’s homemade gnocchi is absolutely the best thing ever.
Favorite place for date night:
Donatello for dinner and dancing. They have the best music in their bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. Our friend, Gino Tiozzo, owns Donatello and gives every lady a rose, too!
Best sushi:
Yoko’s on South MacDill.
