BIO:

Home from the University of Miami one summer, Soliman and a high school friend borrowed his mom’s cargo van, printed some flyers and spent the summer moving people’s stuff and hauling their junk away. That fall, Soliman’s idea for College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving won first place in a business plan competition. Founded in 2005, the company now has franchisees all across the U.S.

PHILANTHROPIC EFFORTS:

Since moving his company’s headquarters to Tampa in 2008, Soliman has gotten involved with Redefining Refuge, a local organization that provides
a safe house program and services to victims of human trafficking.

WHY DID YOU GET INVOLVED WITH REDEFINING REFUGE?

Before becoming involved, I did not know what a huge issue human trafficking was in the U.S., especially in Florida. I have been shocked by how big of a problem it is not just in other countries, but right here as well.”

ROLE MODEL:

“As an entrepreneur, I admire Steve Jobs.”
